I saw the one that went through the UK in 1999. I'll probably see the next one in Northern Spain if I feel like going. Mexicans be like 'a historic moment for your planet!' They literally happen all the time. It wasn't historic at all
I saw the totality on 4/8/2024 from my backyard in Cleveland. Truly a surreal and awesome experience, the whole town was cheering and in complete awe. Highly recommend.
I drove 10 hours to see the 8ths eclipse in totality
Told by the experts that the Last total in our area was about 250 yrs ago. Wonder why he said another 375 yrs for same spot?
It's not "pure dumb cosmic luck", it's biblical and by wise design. There's a designer behind them.
"Sheer cosmic luck". Um, no. Just like we didn't "just happen by luck", we were created, and the placement of the moon was created. To say "that's impossible" shows who is the closed minded individuals. 🙂
I didn't even go outside to aee it. The sky was very hazy & even tho I was in the path of totality, the corona would be hazy with few details. I even have a telescope with a screen to project the sun onto. But weather won out.
People are not buildings….you guys know we can move here and there lol.
And, on my 1B year birthday party, fine…Ill remember to think of the last eclipse. Oh, Canada…informative as ever
I got to see this one in northern Vermont. Drove 7 hours for it.. Was well worth it!
I drove 13 hours total with worst traffic of my life from Boston to the north of new Hampshire to witnessed it.
It was wonderful. I was the only person somewhere in a farm next to a street. I can't still believe what I saw. I close my eyes and still feel it and see it.
Once again, calling God’s perfect design “cosmic dumb luck.”

I wanna know how a Flat-Earther explains a solar eclipse… And because the fact that it happens in different parts of the world and not just everyone seeing it all the time should disprove their thesis.

Ive seen two eclipses and the double transit of mercy and venus. Im 25 what are those odds?
Drove 5.5 hours to see it. Drove another 10 hours back due to traffic. But it was worth every second of it. I have never experienced anything so….galactic in my entire life. I've seen a few lunar eclipses, but a total solar eclipse was otherworldly.
It will be easier and a fact that we will push the moon closer into the earth because of other reasons/objetives.
Moon should not be allowed to left the earth proximity.
The adjustment may be on the next 1,700 years but we will be ready on the next 1,000 years.
My mind blows too much haha, that is my own expectation.

I live in indiana. And I had just moved here a few months ago from another state (i went to college here but didn;t think I would return). never in a million years would I have guess that I would have rented a 3 floor apartment with a private rooftop deck almost directly in the dead center of the path of totality. it's a small town 35k. and the whole town was going crazy over this. it was the most magical thing i think i've ever experienced as a human being. absolute FATE
Missouri has been a great place to see eclipses. I saw the one in 2017 the clouds cleared up a couple munutes before and came back an hour after., and this last one the sky was completely clear. the next one to pass through north america in 2045 will pass right next to missouri, so im going to go to that one as well. 3 in a lifetime is pretty good.
I stood in the exact same spot in 2017 and 2024. Clear skies and incredibly unbelievable experiences both times!

If the eclipse's are so normal, why can't science reproduce it? Its almost as if it's 100% UNSCIETIFIC.
I experienced the 2017 eclipse in totality in Augusta, GA. And saw the 2024 eclipse in almost complete totality in Wheatfield, IN just yesterday. I cannot believe how incredible lucky I got to witness both in person. 🥹
The last total eclipse was on 20 April 2023 (one year ago). The only place (on land) you could see it in totality was the tiny town of Exmouth – the westernmost point of Australia. Or you might have been on a fishing boat in the Indian Ocean.
The next total eclipse will be on 2 October this year. The best place to see it in its totality will be at Punta Arenas, Chile, at the southernmost tip of South America. See you there!
"The moon is getting farther away from us and no more eclipse in a billion years" hurts to hear that. Feels like a billion years is not far away. But I'm so glad I caught the partial Eclipse since I live in Maryland I missed the 2017 Eclipse because I didn't research the time it would happen and I was outside 😒.
