2024 Hyundai i30 Sedan N (inc. 0-100 & braking) review: This is the BEST affordable hot sedan!

It’s a big call, but I think this is the BEST affordable performance sedan on the market. It’s damn quick through the corners, quick in a straight line and sounds absolutely unreal.

  1. A number of people have called out that the car may not have been in “octane learning mode” during the performance runs. It’s a strange thing given the knock sensor should take care of that almost immediately. But I’ll get the car back and run it through the learning mode and try performance runs again to see if it makes a difference.

  2. Tell me why do manufacturers think front passengers don't want as good a seat as the driver gets? You're on a long road trip and taking turns driving, why should the passenger get a crap seat? Does my head in. At the very least it should be an option to have the same seat for both.

  3. I dont get it, the N line premium which is the 150 kw car has a 360 degree camera and cup holders in the back seat rest. So why cant these features reflect onto the N car seeing its still $10000 more?? Its seems to be the dumbest decision by Hyundai especially for families.

  4. so, pick mine up tomorrow, cant wait. went from Cerato GT to this. disappointing that it still doesn't have electric passenger seat though. everything else, i am impressed with.

  5. Can anyone comment on ride comfort compared to other vehicles. Golf GTI, Golf R, my Mustang with magnaride ? Also on carsales, it says it has cruise control with all the bells & whistles, is this not the case ?

  6. At I think the octane learning was not completed before the acceleration test. With good petrol and after the learning the turbo pressure can reach 18 psi, and you got 15 psi max. That's why your time was so weak.

  7. 10:23 what they need to do with ALL cars is link those safety settings with diver profiles I might want some kept on and others turned off but if my kids use the car then I'd want them all left on. That way I wouldn't need to spend 10minutes mucking around everytime I hop in the car
