IEC also says people who are being paid by government are not entitled to contest or be MPs, what about the right of people to elect a person of their choice, what about the right of SAn citizens to contest as individual ( i forgot the correct term) candidates, if this is democracy and 50+1 citizens say Zuma lead us then who has power to stand on the way? IEC will be embarrassed as I believe they are jumping the gun, president Zuma is atleast for now the face of MK election campaign, when the legal team of MK asks IEC who said president Zuma wants to be a president of the country again. The least the IEC could do was to advise concerned parties that have unqualified representatives that their members do not qualify for Parliament , after elections they will be barred from being MPs. I think this act is premature and IEC suspicious of being proxy for ANC . I am so eager to hear what the electoral court will say but surely this will go up to Constitutional court.
