  1. For all of you that are protesting about women marrying multiple men at the same time please see what WIKIPEDIA says about it! Don’t be ashamed of your “heritage “.Moreover being poor or the poorest is nothing to be ashamed off.
Here in mighty America there was a study that ONE out of FIVE children don’t have access to three meals a day.

  2. Stopped after the first 13 seconds, since it is neither the poorest country in Africa (it's 6th per capita) nor is it the most densely populated (10th). I'm going to assume the rest is filled with other inaccuracies, so screw it.

  3. Born and raised as a Malawian it is not true that Malawian women among the Chewa and Lomwe people have a tradition of having multiple husband. It a lie and result of poor journalism.

  4. Malawians life expectancy is 72 for women and 69 for men. I think there are many other countries with less life expectancy in Africa or even in the rest of the world.

  5. Most of the issues in this documentary are wrong for Malawi.

In Malawi, women do not marry more than one husband at a time. Children do not use their mother's name or their grand papa's name from the martenal side.

I think the narrator got it wrong or mixed it up with a different social group that do not exist in Malawi.
