  3. This is not just good Egypt travel advice. This is just sound travel advice, works quite well for South America as well. Thank you!

  4. 1987…in Cairo…lost, looking at a map. A guy comes over and says he will take me to my destination. A regular guy, not a taxi. This guy ended up showing me around the city for 3 days. And after travelling around the country and ending up back in Cairo I met up with him again for another few days of sightseeing around the city. He even took me to see his family. One of the nicest guys I have ever met. And he wanted nothing in return.

  5. This is why Egyptians think all Americans have money because the people like this you do not have to tip anybody stop singing it's so cheap in Egypt it's a different standard of living if you was making the average Egyptian salary you would not say oh my god it's only 100 Egyptian pounds this is a retarded statement Egyptians all Americans do not have money I come from one of the poorest areas in America but I still like to travel when I can I can barely afford a flight and these idiots are acting like we all got money you got rich people in Egypt middle class in Egypt poor people in Egypt same thing in America when you sit there and act like everything is so cheap for you this is why they don't like Americans the only like their money because they feel like you are rich and you are arrogant I need deserve to take your money because you took their resources because of colonialism I said to you Egyptians Rob the white people they seem happy with it plus is reparations but do not look at marginalised lower income Americans with the same lens

  6. In September 2023,I flew to Dubai for an event. But while in Dubai ,I have decided to fly to Alexandria and Cairo. Omg…I was so impressed by the generosity of host family in Alexandria. And of course I visited CAIRO. I was blown away by the beauty of the Pyramid and so impressed by a tourist guide who took my videos and pictures without pay. I tried to tip him but he refused and so I took his number because next visit I will surely contact him.

While in Alexandria, I was so in love with the beauty and vibrancy of the city. As if I don’t wanna leave immediately. The Egyptians are very welcoming and friendly. I ate the best foods and omg..I just love their bread. I have never tasted a bread like that.

I usually fly to Dubai 2x/ year because of business and I will surely bring some friends in Egypt again.

To Alexandria Egypt….I LEFT MY HEART IN ALEXANDRIA ! It’s a city that never sleeps . I love the people ,the foods and everything ‼️❤️ I will be back‼️

I live here in San Francisco and the first time I laid my eyes here in San Francisco,California…I was in love with it’s beauty and moved here since 2008.

  7. My partner and I are saving up for Egypt and started doing our little research to do it eventually. And, am so glad that we chanced upon your channel.
Loved the way you guys explain things – so nice and friendly. Thank you !

  8. Hey this is a fairly new video exited to watch more of your videos. We want to go with our two young boys but want to do a bunch of research before we go with them 😂

  9. As an Egyptian / Canadian I want to thank you for such a lovely chat and excellent genuine tips for visiting Cairo and Giza. You guys are so accurate and your patience in understanding the culture and economy is much appreciated. Good luck on your travels and thanks from an Egyptian!

  10. Great Video! Thank you! I'm planning to jump off my Greek holiday at the end of June for a week in Egypt. Watching today on March 20, 2024 and the exchange rate is 47 Egyptian pounds to $1USD 😀

  11. FYI. Before traveling to any country, check with CDC.gov to see what health prevention strategies are recommended to include vaccinations. For instance, Hepatitis A and B vaccines are highly recommended for travel to Egypt.
In addition, if your medical insurance is Medicare, be warned that as soon as you leave the U.S. you have no medical insurance. This includes cruises that leave U.S. territorial waters. Warning, the biggest medical expense incurred in overseas travel may be medical evacuation costs. $$$$$
Also, it is wise to check the State Department Advisories on your travel destination.

  12. Good information but the ladies hand movement while she spoke starting causing motion sickness. I had to blank the screen and just listen instead because it was so much

  13. Google lens is your friend on written. Though when I was in Egypt, I just looked at the menu and pointed "that one". Friend is saying "oh you can read that?" I said "nope, luck of the draw" lol. Love mystery foods and new foods

  14. Hi guys, you are so nice. It will be my first time in Egypt, and I am a bit scared. I mean, everyone keeps telling me that under no circumstances should I go to Cairo, etc, without a guide. Also that I should choose to stay only in 5* stars hotels. Furthermore, going to Luxor, Aswan should be done by plane. Is it really true??

  15. 2 BEST ADVISEs :
1 – you are the visitor and YOU need to adapt to them DO NOT expect them to change just because you are a tourist.
2- STAY AWAY OF POLITICS AND RELIGION – DO NOT allow anybody to tell you about them AT ALL and do not give your opinion about anything in these fields (including social media posts) middle east religions and politics are way more complicated than you may ever think . you can find your self in hot water in NO TIME

  16. I really enjoyed your video! I've been to Egypt as well and I fully agree with everything you said. I had to laugh a bit as well since I know about the chaotic streets and wild adventures 🤣 I really love Egypt and would recommend it to anyone up for an adventure!! It's a safe country and the people are really amazing.

  17. This is good information especially for seniors who have not traveled much outside their county. When I’ve traveled, I often noticed that people always try to pay in USD as it’s more convenient and also most people don’t think of normal local price so I see them always paying tourist prices which means getting ripped off. I guess I have the advantage of having travelled at a young age and numbers are my thing so I know what to do and watch out for in order not to get ripped off.

  18. I am at minute 6. I have panicked for a bit, regret I made the decision to go to Egypt, finally relaxed, laugh, Etc. I have go back to work, but will continue to watch. This is VERY useful. I am an american planning my first trip to Egypt. I spent quite a bit of time trying to get an E Visa through the Egyptian gov site…. A hassle. Their site is like sites were 15 years ago, all clunky. Now I know I don't need to worry about that until I get there.

  19. Thanks!!!! I am planning for my first ever trip to Egypt this May and your video gets me more excited. I live and work in Saudi Arabia which is very near geographically and culturally so i will not find it hard going there. So glad you enjoyed it there!
