Thank Netflix for making this available for free. This is a MUST-SEE Documentary. Well done.
Its business. Not history, not law & order or crime and punishment. Prisons are privatised. Its Pay per Prisoner model for operators of prison. To enhance, enlarge business the only way to do marketing is to engage police and courts. Both entities are bribed or incentivized by prison contractors/ operators to enhance population of prisons. The people easiest to send to lockups are disenfranchised, poor. Its just pure businesss not racism.
To help poverty and prevent crime why don’t these prison give the proceeds they make off these inmates to the very same communities these inmates come from and build up programs and businesses they can thrive in helping them become self sufficient making enough money to stay off the streets committing crimes? Don’t make money off and don’t rehabilitate them.
If they want less people in prison they wouldn’t be building more prisons.
This documentary is an attack on every single genuine WHITE PERSON, IN ALL OF AMERICA!.
I don’t own any slaves!. And I’m not! going to apologize! just because I happen to be WHITE!…
Also, let’s not forget that some WHITE PEOPLE had helped in The CIVIL RIGHTS -ERA!….
This doesn’t edify anyone, all this film does, is make RACIAL PROBLEMS WROSE!…

Simple, don't play the victim and don't break the law. If you don't break the law, you won't get in trouble and you won't go to jail. It's common sense.
All of these documentaries and books are really targeting a white audience using the same tired unsuccessful the tactic of trying to appeal to the emotions and consciousness of white America to treat Black people better. Its a failed tactic. This information should be used to empower Black Americans to be proactive in establishing enough power to counter this problem.
Highlight the crimes of the sudden past, so as not to see the present crimes painted by their own hands.

How in the world did the States convinced others, and more astonishing themselves, in this "American dream" myth??? When in fact the reality is literally opposite!

America prisons are populated by darker races mostly.
Seems like not much has changed. Folks nowadays are more devided than ever.
Yea, but look at the situation today.
The civil rights bill didn’t work out well for blacks did it ?
Today blacks are crying victim more than pre civil rights.
Today more blacks are dying young.
Every stat today is worse for blacks than pre civil rights.
Blacks were much happier 60 – 70 years ago.
Most owned their own homes.
Had their own businesses.
Had an education and skills.
Were polite and respectful.
Children had fathers.
Women had husbands.
Addiction was low.
Crime was a lot lower.
They attended church.
They appreciated beauty.
The black women were feminine and attractive.
The black men were gentlemen.
They took pride in themselves and their community.
Today it’s a dismal picture.
Today’s black people’s great grandparents would be horrified.
‘You grew up in a free society with equal rights and opportunities and you screwed it up big time ?’
