What's crazy is just how grand and great our current civilization is in comparison to all the rest. Their golden ages are just like "Yeah, they had lots of wheat and barely and wood from far away. And the weather was pretty nice too."… Meanwhile our golden age is putting people in space, developing lightspeed communication, and overnight global travel. It's not even close.
Why are people that spent 24/7 in the sun depicted as being pale skinned?
I think this is the third or fourth time I’ve watched this.
Uh oh. Honesty about the early US. Conservatives will be outraged.
If you think British/ western rule is any different today, think again
Total eye candy and cerebral. Thanks!
Excellent video! Amazing amount of information! And really well presented too. Very clear progression of history! Loved this video!!!
I find it interesting that this narrative can go on almost for hours talking about Assure BonnyPile's life and tribulations when the reality is that almost all of these ancient kings/pharaohs had a ruling life span of only a decade, bingo, they're here, they're gone before you know it. This story could have been completed in far less time with a little work on editing.
One would expect these barbaric people to have become civilized over the years but they are still the same. Sand natives
The king's illness sounds like liver disease to me. I don't know if they had hepatitis viruses back then but his lethargy, nausea & skin rashes sound like cirrhosis.

This was a great re-telling of the history of Assyria. Great job Paul.
war and war and war. Nothing but killing and greed and destruction and unending evil in the hearts of mankind. From the beginning until this very day.
Absolutely riveting. Thank you for this. I enjoyed it immensely.

Thank you for this wonderful program. Particularly enjoyed the history of Israel. Proof that Israel is & was their homeland. Hezekiah was a good king, even though he made some mistakes. God, the one true God, will always defend Israel.
