I think the only one you missed was a lapa. Either way, great Video 😊
Thanks!
Also you can in Ivory Coast and Togo also wear kente as Ghana shares borders with them and we share similar cultures.
Awesome, happy to join your home 🏡
Gomesi from Uganda and mushanana from Rwanda.
The Boubou is almost for all of West Africa. Actually, it was for the Royals, chiefs and other very important peope (Ghana Empire, Mali Empire, Songhoï Empire and various kingdoms that followed these). If you ask someone from Senegal, the person will tell you it is from Senegal. A Guinean will say it is from Guinea. A Malian would say it is from Mali. Someone from Niger or Northern Nigeria (especially Haussa and Yoruba) will also tell you that it is from Nigeria. This just to name a few countries.
The common people wore various types of cotton clothings, including Koba (which ressembles the type of clothing that you presented for the Ghana royals), the bogolan, the galafini (indigo died cotton clothing), etc. Bogolan was so famous that you should find out about it and add it to the types of clothing in West Africa.
In Burkina Faso they also have the "Faso danfani", which you may add as well.
