1. Ditch the soda.
2. Train your taste buds not to like sugar.
3. Learn the different names of sugar on a label.
4. Reduce alcohol intake.
5. Substitute sugar with fruits.
6. Avoid eating dessert when you go for events.
7. Try to avoid eating junk food.
8. Cut down on carbohydrates. Reduce it to one meal a day.
9. Cut down on processed foods.
10. Create a meal plan.
If you find yourself reaching for sugary foods constantly reach for and eat at least 1-2 portions of fresh fruit or fresh veg and drink a glass of water . This can stop/reduce sugar cravings.
A very good and easy way of reducing sugar is making a resolution to NOT buy or eat products that have sugar as the first/main ingredient. I have cut these out of my diet and I have lost weight, I have better energy levels and I feel a lot happier!! Please share this tip it really works!!
