Just launched a workshop explaining how we travel Europe for $100 per day or less (without staying in hostels): https://bit.ly/europe_for_less
ay what the hell are bullet ants??
Hello, what would you suggest, the least far country from Europe to escape cold winter? Thailand is too far for me, Iād prefer flight less than 10 hours.
KrakĆ³w's history stretches back to the 7th century, with its origins as a small settlement on Wawel Hill. It rose to prominence as the capital of Poland from 1038 until 1596, becoming a center of trade, culture, and learning. KrakĆ³w's "Golden Age" during the 14th and 15th centuries saw the city flourish as a major European center, hosting renowned scholars, artists, and intellectuals. The establishment of the Jagiellonian University in 1364, one of the oldest universities in Central Europe, solidified KrakĆ³w's reputation as a hub of knowledge.
Slovenia: Switzerland that real people can afford.
Azores islands are cheap too. 4 hours from US.
Hello. Just discovered your channel and subbed. We're from the States as well and have been going to various parts of Thailand for the past seven years. So far, our favorite country by far. We're in our early 50's and just retired and i'm doing research on our travel list. We prefer less traveled places. Can't wait to watch the rest of this video. Thank you!
So when I'm heading back to the US from Europe, I'm always booking a connecting flight with a layover in a city on the way, like London for example. It cuts my travel costs and also gives me a chance to explore a new city for a day… It's a good way to get a nice little treat & explore another city before I get home!
surprised at some of the places you mentioned , Thailand hasn`t really been cheap since around 2015 Especially Samui where the One.Way air fare from Bangkok has shot up from 75 $ to around 150 $ , Costa Rica is the most expensive place in all of Central America , If you want Budget in Asia then Vietnam is amazing for food and things to see , for Central America Guatamala , also try South America Peru , Bolivia . also Argentina has got cheaper since the recession
Great recommendations! Thanks for this informative and entertaining video.
I did a 7000 mile, 20 day road trip with a friend in the US last year, where we each only spent about $1k total, so Iām glad you included that at the end. I do definitely look forward to visiting the rest tho. Great video!
50$ per day is cheap?
Costa Rica has rainforests not jungles. And it gets on my nerves that people say that about central and southern American countries and the Caribbean alike. We dot have jungles, we have rainforests 2 ecologically diverse places.
Epats should never move to SE Asia and should move here. (ARGENTINA) Reasons. 1. It is cheaper and easier to get a flight to the USA from Argentina. 2. In case of a WW3 Argentina is one of the safest in case of a war. 3. You can own land. 4. You can become a An Argentina citizen in only 2 years. 5. Everything is cheaper than ANY SE Asian Countries. 6. Your USD is stronger and goes much further in Argentina than Any SE Asian Country. 7. Argentina is the 8th largest country and has about 1/3 the population of the Philippines. 8. Argentina great schools and universities. 9. Argentina has more Gold, oil, silver and other natural resources than almost Any SE Asian Country. 11. Less Digital nomads and bloggers so U can do better and live happier. 12. The beef and food is better than Any SE Asian Countries. 13. Argentina has Great weather and is not always just hot and humid.
What month did you guys go Thailand and Cambodia? We are wondering how the weather would be in the spring there
INDIA!!
Amazing list! My wife and I have traveled many of the same places as you. You HAVE to visit Buenos Aires & Argentina in general. It will 100% make your list.
@7:35 there's a common myth about Jurassic Park being filmed in Costa Rica. It's because the fictitious island was based loosely on Isla del Coco in Costa Rica but the actual filming was done in Hawaii.
Sooooo, how much????
Lol bang kak
I am currently watching Gabriel Traveler. Heās in Montenegro š²šŖ Very inexpensive. He found that Croatia šš· is becoming expensive.
17:13 We did the same during Covid. Had plans all booked for Spain/Portugal for 2020 and then Covid happened. After several months of being locked down, we pivoted and went on a massive road trip from New Jersey to Wyoming and Montana. In 2021, we followed that up by doing largely what you guys did, save for Capital Reef and Zion. We've traveled to the UK, France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Italy and Switzerland since, over the last three years but, we do miss going out west.
You cant cover them all. So, for a future video can I suggest, Morocco, Malta, Cyprus and Sicily.
In Costa Rica the biggest problen I had was aggressive beggars. Some won't take no for an answer. I found that a crack across the neck with my walking cane got the message across.
Slovenia is not really that Cheap any more, most Bang for your Buck is Montenegro, Albania, Romania, Bulgaria, and even Greece is cheaper. Rent a Car on Crete, and do a Trip round the Island for one or two weeksā¦.
A Norwegian retiree would have many, many times more than that per day. You are on vacation! Why not have a nice time? It seems that you missed out on Africa! Yes, it is for a bit seasoned travelers and may be everything from really cheap to super costly. I prefer Africa.
Interesting travel tips!āļø
I got a flight to Paris Round trip for $8 lol. I get airfare alerts from Jetsetter Alerts and they sent out a mistake fare that I booked.
These are Awesome destinations! THANK YOU for the beautiful and informative presentation of your experiences! I will add alot of these to the list of places to travel with my wife.
So, you visited these countries during covid and the title of the video is cheap destinations for 2024, Are we still in pandemic? Or title is misleading?
And South Africa . But maybe thatās a blessing in disguise š
You forgot to mention Prague, awesome lots to see that are free attractions and the dollar does go a long way as well.
