  1. I get suspicious of a channel that doesnt do enough research to know the spanish invented concentration camps, nor that the concept has been a thing for centuries, but instead goes with incorrect common knowledge.

  2. It proves how brutal the past was. And Hernan Cortes wasn't alive in the 13th century, he went to conquer Mexico in 1521. This is why the past had the worst periods, and we wouldn't last long if those of us alive today had lived back then. We no longer have to worry about smallpox or a plague, with advanced medicine. It makes me happy to live in the 21st century.

  3. Out of curiosity… you keep using BCE or CE. I know what they stand for but I’m just curious around which event we consider the common era beginning and why we still use that event as reference but insist on removing the reference to the event…

  4. IF the Aztecs didn't have their religious practice centered around blood sacrifice, AND the Catholic Church wasn't hugely into torturing people not of their faith in those years, I believe the history of Mexico would have changed the face and fate of the Americas most distinctly.

  5. I just don't know if there's anything worse for a culture or civilization than destroying its relics and then basically enslaving it's people for hundreds of years…
