  16. 2:43 you said Ru Fiji river. So there is a name in Tanganyka call Fiji. Must be na name our ancestors brought with them to name their island. Our oral tradition says that our ancerstors came from lake tanganyka in Tanganyka Tanzania.

  24. Mafia is where I grew up between 5 yrs old to 12 yrs old, then moved to Southern Tanzania and it was back and forth from there until around 18 yrs. But now I miss it so much!

  25. Great video and great list too, but you shouldn't separate Zanzibar and Unguja. This is because Zanzibar means Unguja and Pemba islands combined together. You could say Unguja and then Pemba (which means Zanzibar) but not Unguja and Zanzibar. Zanzibar = Unguja + Pemba. Also, for those who wondering, Tanzania = Tanganyika (mainland Tanzania) + Zanzibar (Unguja + Pemba). I hope that clarifies things.

  42. Zanzibar is made up of two islands that is unguja and pemba, stone town is also part ofa zanzibar which is in unguja island. I think u should research well before posting a video as it is misleading.
