  1. So refreshing to hear a Nigerian whose disgusted with the tarnished images of Nigerians here in the United States and abroad. Nigerians need to learn that short term profits only leads to eternal damaging consequences to themselves and to their future generations. Only God can change the posture and hearts of any people!!!

  2. I agreed a 100% of what you said, good on you. I also think you should talk about hushpuppi and lessons that can be learn from his capture by the federal bureau of investigation. God bless you and God bless Nigeria.

  3. At an earlier age it is ingrained in you as a Nigerian to get one over the next person. It’s really crazy 😂 we encourage it by branding it as being “a sharp guy” but the fact is we’re all fraud apologists one way or the other 😂. Crabs in a crappy barrel

  4. THIS IS VERY SAD INDEED! AS WE SAY HERE IN THE USA, "ONE BAD APPLE SPOILS THE ENTIRE BUNCH"! MY HUSBAND IS A NIGERIAN…FROM IMO STATE! ALL NIGERIANS ARE NOT THIS WAY. $46 MILLION😳 (BE CAREFUL! POTUS DOESN'T WANT ANY OF HERE ANYWAYS)! …GOD BLESS AMERICA😏

  5. Thank you for discussing this issue. Over the years, I have had friends who were scammed out of thousands of dollars each. However, they weren't all Africans, they were scammed by Brazilians, Dominicans, and Haitians. Although it was disappointing, we do realize that not all Africans are scammers. I enjoyed your video and you have a new subscriber, keep up the good work. Blessings my brother!

  6. I have been scammed twice from Africa, south and west, totaling $3,000.000, I am older woman living on a fixed income. Totally heartbreaking to lose your hard earned money lost to someone who lied to you. They don't seem to have a conscience., or a heart. I just don't understand it. Lesson learned! Wish I could recover my money somehow. 😕✌🏼️👍🏼 from BC 🇨🇦 I am not racist but I'm feeling someone is racist toward me! I realize not all Nigerians are doing this, but there are a lot of scammers that come from there. Also, they are extremely convincing that they are real soldiers for example. ( white) I hope it stops soon. It is a dangerous game, they are playing with human lives! Emotions, money they have to live on in retirement. I do realize that other Nigerians are good, hardworking individuals. So sad this happens.

  7. OK, take no offense, but my first reaction when I read the title was "wow, they finally caught that mysterious Nigerian prince who's been e-mailing me about his money since 1995".

  8. Brother i understand where are coming from, but we must speak the truth and nothing but the truth. This is happen when you allow illiterates to lead educated people. The northerners have been running Nigeria since it by the British. and these people don not care about which direction the country is going all the care about is how oil in the south. and yet the north still have the highest illiteracy rate in Nigeria. All these issue have made the in the youths in the south to fend for them selves and it is even worst for the Igbo youths because the people from the North and west consider them to be outcast. It is not a surprise that almost all of them are Igbo boys. Nigeria needs to take a break and reexamine it self.

  9. I have a woman who is Nigerian. I've known her for at least 10 yrs. Yes, I've been to the continent, and met her in Sierra Leone.. I'm living in the states & she is presently living on Lagos island.

She has applied for a B1 tourist twice & was rejected due to " not having strong ties to Nigeria, to prove that she will return once her visa expires , according to the Embassy letter.

So, one day while we were communicating through WhatsApp video , she , out of nowhere ,blew a fuse & went on a rant.

Her: " I'm so sick of this f__king country! And, if all Nigerians were given a visa, Nigeria would be empty! "

She went on: " Most Nigerians don't leave Nigeria for money ; they leave for peace of mind because of the daily bullshit & govt corruption. Did you know that they stole our generator?!"

I said nothing ; just listened. After she stop venting, I told her that I was tired of the USA & wanted a change of scene, and that, I was planning on buying a condo in Ambergris Caye, Belize, but keep my home in the states ; the first thing she asked me, were there black people living there.(I'm black, lol).

And, I replied, "Yes," and asked her, "why?"

She said that, she didn't care to be around black people because , " black people are always ruining things." But, she would come to be with me.

I admonished her for her narrow-minded, self-hating statement, which , I believe, was due to her negative view of her experience living in Nigeria.

By January 2020, I will have closed the deal on the condo , but laid down the law to her that, she has to leave that baggage in Nigeria & don't bring any preconceived notions about any blacks that she don't even know with her, because white people don't have what you would call a clean record either.

  10. Let's talk more about solutions… And less about problems…This just shows that we have brilliant people in our country.. we need to solve problem with business models, creating jobs for the people.

  11. I am happy I saw this video. I am a Sierra Leonean living in Canada. I had to leave a Caucasian girl who was desperate to date me by then because of such profiling…….. " Oh, are you Nigerian? Ok show me your ID card". It is very sad. This stigma is affecting all of us as blacks, not only Nigerians. NOW, This is the story. AND WE NEED SOLUTIONS. First, we should start inviting some of these media houses to our African functions like celebrating certain occasions for them to see who we are as Africans (Nigerians). This is one of the ways Asians are doing. I know that for a fact because I have witnessed few of their occasions.

  12. Corruption is in the fabric of our society. Only in Nigeria can you find govt officials blaming animals for the theft of millions of naira. Politicians blatantly flaunt the country's money, and no one says a thing. EFCC was created to fight corruption, yet the politicians, and religious leaders remain untouched. If our leaders can't lead by example, how then do we expect others to be honest? We have the most churches in the world, and yet we are the poverty capital of the world. We have the richest pastors, and yet their congregation can't afford to send their kids to the schools created by these very same pastors. Like Omoyemen says….we need to stop celebrating wealth, and start rewarding honesty, and hard work.
