Uganda is a very corrupt country, and Chinese you need a tip to pass customs, people from other countries don't, (that international airport was still built with Chinese aid). Even if all my VISAs are qualified, without any disciplinary items, at first 100rmb, and finally bargained to 5rmb, and even $5 a box of tea leaves are withheld, and they drink it themselves. Backward and corrupt countries, the famous saying "This is Africa". But I am glad that the Ugandan colleagues are still very good and the local people are friendly. Heads up: This country has been led under the iron fist by a brutal dictator Yoweri Museveni for over 35 years now… he once again has just rigged the elections, tortured and killed his opposition party supporters and sentenced to so many people over 4000 in jails and army barracks jails… the country is not as good as tourists show it here.
