Years ago, and maybe still today, Singapore Customs would check your automobile gas tank when you leav; your tank would need to be 3/4 full. DOes anyone know, is it the same rule for motorbikes?

As a Malaysian, I have always found Johor Bharu as the most least interesting city in Malaysia. Barely any unique attractions and looks generic.
So arrogant most of the Sg comments. Just because your currency is higher does not make Sg a better place and don't degrade other countries.

Iโm from northern Johor district of Muarโฆto be honest, I just went to JB like 3 times in my life so far ๐๐๐ nothing special there actually, everything are overprice due to proximity to SingaporeโฆI just go to Melaka or KL to shopping or foodโฆMuar also a food haven in Johorโฆno need to travel 2 hours to Johor Baru to find any food ๐๐๐

Visitors to SE Asia should try the 2nd city tour . It will give a different experience.
So go to JB instead of KL. Then Chiang Mai instead of Bangkok. Luang Prabang in Laos. Siem Reap in Cambodia. Da Nang in Vietnam. Cebu in the Philippines. Yogyakarta in Indonesia.
Most people visit legoland and tioman island.
Definitely not as clean as singapore. I can see rubbish in the pond/canal.
Did the German couple have their bikes shipped to Singapore and then they flew there? Did they just start their trip and they have 2 years of pedaling before they get home to Germany? I would like to hear their thoughts at the end of that trip!
I live in Johor Bahru, but I havenโt been to Johor Bahru city center for many years. You can go to mount austin, sutera utama, bukit indah, eco palladium to get closer to the daily life of Johor Bahru people.
I think the johor tourism board need to hype up the islands off Mersingโฆ. The view are stunning n it is Where ppl could find peace n tranquility
In essence JB is where Singaporeans shop and dine. Gasoline in Malaysia is the second cheapest in Southeast Asia. Which is why both Singaporeans and Thai's buy and often even smuggle gasoline from Malaysia ๐
