Peacock dance has to do with initiation which is a right of passage from childhood to womanhood. So ok find out exactly what kind of initiation. Thank you
Dear African American..u are missing out on our rich culture π
The Pathisi story I grew with, is that this dance was imported from South African mines, the pads on the feed, were originally gum boots worm by the miners. Most men in Botswana in the early 1900' went over to South Africa to work the mines. They came back dancing pathisi.

As an America who has lived in Botswana for four years: you have to see it first hand. The people are amazing and so friendly. The landscapes are like nowhere else on the planet. Oh, and the animals are neat, too π

Our dances are traditionally to call the rain and to appeas the gods (ancesters) thats why we mostly stomp the ground we believe its wakes the gods up and makes them wanna party and we make them booze also
There are more batsawana in south africa than the country Botswana, just like there are more basotho in south africa than Lesotho and more swait people in south africa than eswatini π€·π½ββοΈ
