    thanks for this wonderful recipe! I lived in Ghana for two years and learned how to make nkantenkwan but never abenkwan (because there you have to prepare the palm nuts for a long time and I didn't have a pistil to do it). So thanks for showing how to make the soup from concentrate! Medaase Mame!

    I was shocked to see just how similar Ghanaian meat preparation method is to Haitian cooking! Rinsing and/or quick-boiling the meat, blending all the spices into a smooth paste to marinate… I am amazed by how well those techniques from the motherland have been preserved in our cooking today. Thank you for this video!
