Our AfricaCom headline keynotes have been been no exception – we invited all of our keynote speakers from day 1 to take part in a discussion around harnessing the power of the internet to spur socioeconomic empowerment on the continent, the progress being made and why there is cause for optimism in ‘Digital Africa’.

Making the World More Open and Connected – Internet.org’s (Facebook) Chris Daniels AfricaCom Address

The bigger, better, bolder AfricaCom welcomed the Vice President of Internet.org Chris Daniels as a LeadersIn Africa keynote speaker, at the 2016 event. In his address on day 1 of AfricaCom, Chris spoke about the transformative power of connectivity through the organisation’s Express WiFi service, a sustainable economic model which is becoming a key enabler for rural communities and small and mediums sized enterprises, in the developing world.

The bigger, better, bolder AfricaCom welcomed the Vice President of Internet.org Chris Daniels as a LeadersIn Africa keynote speaker, at the 2016 event.

The Role of Women’s Leadership in Africa – Bisila Bokoko AfricaCom Keynote Address

Bisila is a leading figure of the UN’s Empretec programme which fosters entrepreneurship skills for women in Africa. Ms Bokoko is also the Founder of the Bisila Bokoko African Literacy Project and BBES.
